Number 10: Yuban with $37.4 million in sales.

Yuban is a brand of Kraft foods and touts as being environmentally friendly by helping protect the habitat where cofey is grown.  You would think Yuban would hold a decent market share with 37 million in sales, but that only equals to about 1.9% of the market share.

Number 9:  Eight O’Clock Coffee with $38.5 million in sales.

Eight O’Clock coffee is actually the only one on this list that I had never heard of, but they hold just under 2% of the entire market share.  Back in 2003 the company was sold by A&P to an investment firm.  Looks like this is one investment that is paying off!

Number 4:  Folgers Coffeehouse with $127.9 million in sales.

An offshoot of the main Folgers brand, the Folgers Coffeehouse series is a gourmet branded coffee. This brand of Folgers holds 6.5% of the market share.  I couldn’t help but hum the commercial jingle while writing this post.  “Folgers In Your Cup!”

Number 3:  Starbucks with $189.2 million in sales.

Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse company in the world, but they are the third largest overall coffee brand in the U.S. with a 9.75% market share.  And I bet you thought they were number 1?!
